Had no idea that preparations begin so early. The wedding was to be at 4:00 which meant starting to get ready at 8:00. No wonder morning weddings are so unusual these days!
First things first.
Tim had prepared a video clip for Rachel to view in private. Kelsey presented it to the bride.
I gathered that it was humorous, adorable, romantic and a surprise. Just the thought of what he might have said brought tears to my eyes! Remember this came from the guy who had a date night with his Mom shortly before his wedding day!
Before shots.
A Starbucks run.
Transpiring from "everyday" to "wedding ready". I was right there capturing the transitions.
Rachel gave her girls the choice of any black satin dress they wanted; the matching components would be purple shoes and this beautiful hair clip on the right side of their hair. They had the freedom to have their hair styled however they wished as long as this clip was on their right side.
Andy had a little fun with Kelsey. Too much coffee or not enough?
Gail and Rachel had their make-up professionally done.
The make-up scheme was new to me. They had a practice run prior to the special day and had a guide to follow as they dress the face.
No surprises.
One by one, the bridesmaids finished up, we sat around ,drank our coffee, and ooowwed and awed over Rachel's transition.
Mom and Bride were ready to go.
The girls were ready to head back to the church to shortly after 11. The after shots. Note the bags they are holding. These are Thirty ones bags that were a present from Rachel to each bridesmaid. Monogrammed and perfect for carrying their stash.
Time for Paneras and to get ready for the photo shot at the capital grounds. This is where Tim would see Rachel for the first time so very important to keep them away from each other despite both being at the church. Tomorrow will be the wedding photos!
