Hope you all had an "egg"stra special Easter. You saw the tradition of dying eggs lived on but the bunny was scorned for not keeping up with the tradition of hiding eggs this year. Guess you never get too old for some things? Mental note: Next year the egg hunt will be revived!
Began the day at the beach with a sunrise Easter service. Very moving to watch the sun rise while praising the "Son" rising! Such a warm feeling gathering with hundreds of strangers celebrating this day. Back home to arise my son and off to worship with our favorite church family. Featured the dyed eggs as our centerpiece.
The Grands came over for Easter dinner.
Very easy prep this year with a visit to Honey Baked ham.
Maybe a new tradition? Every one agreed it was delicious. Tried to capture a family photo but notice that my family avoided eye contact.
Zach commented how my plate is always empty in those photos. Sugar overload for the only child. Easter basket appeared.
Sour anything is a favorite. New sliders.
Informed me that that sliders he had worn all during track season were a bit small. Checked label and yep, no doubt they were body cinching as they were a size boys 12-14! UGH! And my personal favorite that I am looking forward to trying....Wii, Dance Workout.
